Kevin Lam will be joining the 7th Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps as a music instructor for the 2008 DCI season. Kevin is currently a senior at the University of Connecticut pursuing a degree in Music Education and is the principal French horn in the University Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra. At the University of Connecticut, Kevin studies with Robert Hoyle and has performed in master classes by Eric Ruske and Michael Gast. Originally from Norwalk, CT, he was a member of the Norwalk High School Marching Band and served as section leader, brass captain, assistant drum major, and drum major throughout his four years. In 2005, Kevin marched with the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps and recently aged out with the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps in 2007. In the summer of 2006, he was a bunk counselor and music staff member at French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts in Hancock, NY. Since 2006, Kevin has been a brass and visual instructor for the Rockville High School Marching Band. He is very excited to be part of the 2008 edition of the 7th Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps and looks forward to a great season.
